Annual pet wellness exams detect medical conditions early before they become unmanageable. These exams provide an opportunity to discuss future health, questions, and existing conditions. Before exams, note changes, including vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, weight gain/loss, excessive thirst, or aggression.

Pet wellness exams perform dental and full body exams, heartworm checks, lab tests, and X-rays. For puppies and kittens, these exams help detect illness early with vital statistics, lab work, and inspection of vital organs.

Adult exams examine vital statistics, check joints and central organs, and discuss diet and nutrition. Senior pets need exams twice per year with complete lab work to detect age-related illnesses.
